Kozhikode District Co-operative Bank, previously known as the Malabar co-op Central Bank Ltd. had started in the year of 1917. It was 3rd December 1917 when the bank started. It got the name, Malabar co-op Central Bank in 1958 and renamed as Kozhikode District Co-op Bank Ltd. In 1985. The bank has celebrated its centenary year in 2017 and has 63 branches working throughout the Kozhikode district with more than 500 worthy staffs and a total business mix of above Rs. 6300/- crores.
