Suco Souharda Sahakari Bank started their journey in Raichur district, Sindhanur in the year of 1995. The Sindhanur Urban Co-operative Bank in the leadership of Mr. Manohar Maski soon became SUCO Bank, and thus, they changed the name of the bank and registered as SUCO bank. The success story of the bank started from the Janatha Bazar in Sindhanur. SUCO bank was one of those pioneer banking services that started providing air-conditioned and computerized service from the very first day. In 1995, it was a huge step, and it worked. SUCO Bank registered under the Souharda Sahkari Act in 2001. SUCO Bank has introduced the brand ambassador concept by appointing Mrs. AnuPrabhakar, Kannada film actress in 2005-2006. It was the first co-op banking chain in Karnataka as well as in the country to enter the ATM transaction by launching the RuPay card. Now the bank has 18 branches spread across the North Karnataka region and will be expanding their operations in the entire Karnataka sooner.
