Kutchi Dasa Oswal Jain Community founded Shree Arihant Co-op Bank Limited. The main objective of the Bank was to benefit the financial needs of the community members and also for masses. However, in the second convention of the community that happened at Hubli in Karnataka, the Bank was resolved as the co-operative banking association for the community. It was the year of 1980. Shri Laxmichand Shivaji Ratani, Shri Virchand Lalji Munver and Shri Pravin Devji Khona, three educated youngsters from the city of Mumbai step up to the responsibilities of the job. They had a profound thought about the matter, and they ultimately decided to form a bank after returning to Bombay. After collecting 5.25 lacs of share capital and more than 2500 members, the Bank finally started its journey with chief promoters Shri Ratani, Shri Munver and Shri Khona and a board of directors with ten other persons. The Bank becomes registered on 25th January 1984 under the leadership of our great board of directors.
