The Sonepat Urban Co-Operative Bank is reigning for a long time in the northern sides of India. Particularly in Haryana. Right from the inception point of the bank in August 1961, the bank has faced tough situations and adverse conditions. Especially because of the dense fog lurking on the path of trust. Founder chairman Late babu Manohar Lal Jain and founder patron Late Babu Mahabir Parsad Jain were turned fruitful with the help of the 78 other founder members. The bank was inaugurated SH. V.P. Dhir, I.A.S, then S.D.M of Sonipat on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day in 1961. The bank rented a shop and started serving its objectives with a sharing capital of Rs. 23700/-. The bank got its office building in 1979 in New Subzi Mandi in Sonepat. The bank was registered by the assistant registrar, the cooperative societies ZSonepat on 29th day of the month of July 1964. The bank got its Reserve Bank License for banking in 1949. Audit Department has granted us an “A” category, and it is enough to prove our efficiency.
